The Intelligent Community Forum Foundation is the nonprofit
membership association of the Intelligent Community Forum. Its members are communities honored by the
Forum’s international awards program for Intelligent Communities, which use
information and communications technology as the foundation for building
inclusive, sustainable prosperity. They
are committed to expanding and deepening their use of broadband and IT,
creating a knowledge-based workforce, promoting digital inclusion, spurring
innovation and becoming effective marketers and advocates for their vision.

Having achieved so much already, the members of ICFF have formed
this global network – a "community of communities" – in order to further
boost their economic competitiveness, social health and cultural strength
through close and effective collaboration.
They have chosen to become committed partners in building the community
of the 21st Century.
Mission
ICFF fulfills its mission in two ways: by serving its members
and by helping to advance the practice of community development around the
world.
Service to Members. ICFF
seeks to –
- Further promote the economic growth, social
advancement and cultural development of member communities across the globe.
- Deepen personal interaction among the public and
private-sector leaders of the member communities for their mutual benefit.
Advancing the Practice of Community Development. ICFF works to –
- Create a sustained program of research to
improve the ability of member communities to achieve their goals as well as
contributing to the peaceful advancement of all communities around the world.
- Increase opportunities for sharing best
practices in broadband, workforce development, digital inclusion, private and
public sector innovation, marketing and advocacy among member and non-member
communities.
